Why ShavyStays Japan

Chalets built for the world’s best powder.

4 Handpicked Niseko Chalets

Each chalet is personally vetted — dry rooms (genkan) for ski gear, Japanese baths, and locations minutes from the lifts. No resorts, no shared walls. Just private chalets in Japan’s premier ski destination.

World-Famous Powder Snow

Niseko receives an average of 15 metres of snow per season — some of the lightest, driest powder on earth. Peak season runs December through April, with January and February delivering the best conditions.

Groups of 8–10 Guests

Our Japan chalets are sized for two to three families or groups of friends. Three to four en-suite bedrooms per chalet, fully equipped kitchens, and living areas designed for après-ski gatherings.

Onsen, Izakayas & Culture

Niseko blends world-class skiing with authentic Japan — private onsen baths, Kutchan’s izakayas, Sapporo day trips, and the calm of Hokkaido’s snow country. Airport transfer from New Chitose (CTS) is 2.5 hours.
